About Me

As an economics and math student with about as much culinary experience as anyone who's sporadically played Sous Chef to their mother while growing up, I didn’t really fit the "it was clear from the start" description when it came to my affinity for food.

My college roommates brought my interest to my attention about three years ago: "We finally decided the difference between you and us. We love eating. You love food."
I had always assumed that food obsession was simply human nature. The realization that this constant curiosity–with tastes, smells, textures, combinations, everything – is not characteristic of our species was shocking. 

Many people have said that they've never thought of food in the way that they do now after meeting me. Well, I'm constantly thinking of food in a different way, but I'm also just constantly thinking of food in general, so I guess that ups my odds a bit.

I love experiencing new foods and different dining experiences as well as paying homage to classical favorites. I invite you to sit down with me, expand your curiosities and fatten your palate.
